Holiday Reading

Sometimes I feel overwhelmed by all the books I feel like I need to read. As an English teacher, I am constantly reading, but I feel that it's never enough. I have read three books so far this break: I Hate Other People's Kids, Make Lemonade, and Farewell to Manzanar.

I am halfway through another book, which is much longer called The Heart is a Lonely Hunter. Mrs. Simonton let me borrow this book...back in September or October! I have had it for that long, so it is my goal to finish it during break.

However, my sister gave me two books for Christmas, and I also want to read them. One is the newest book by S.E. Hinton (author of The Outsiders) called Hawkes Harbor and the other is a biography of Charles Schulz (creator of the Peanuts comic strip). Good luck on all your reading goals.

What have you read over the break?
